DVAS - Diamond Valley Art Society
We are excited to welcome Diamond Valley Art Society (DVAS) to Edendale. They are now operating out of our beautiful heritage Homestead building.
DVAS is a community-led Art Society which is more than 50 years old.
In partnership with Edendale, DVAS now have a new space in which to run workshops, classes and activities of a creative nature.
DVAS will be offering art classes and activities in the Homestead and in other spaces around the farm. They will also be involved in school holiday programs.
Some classes are already in place including Life Drawing most Friday afternoons and Friendship Mixed Media groups in the afternoon and evening.
With increased accessibility to the community, DVAS are hoping to build their membership and offer a wide variety of activities and programs to Edendale visitors and the broader community so if you are interested they would love to hear from you.

Life Drawing Group - with Lynton
The Diamond Valley Arts Society life drawing group meets on most Friday afternoons from 12.15 to 3.15 and occasionally on other weekdays. The sessions are untutored and take place in a friendly, relaxing environment within the delightful surrounds of Edendale Farm. The sessions begin with short warm-up poses and progress through to longer ones. We have excellent, professional models. Participants really enjoy the sessions, engaging in their artistic pursuits and joining in the warm social atmosphere. It’s a wonderful way to end the week!
