The Wildlife Xposure Team is back for the holidays!

A unique opportunity for children over 3 years old to encounter unique Animals from around Australia. Mammals, Birds, Marsupials, Amphibians and Reptiles.

Touch and hold hand reared gliding possums. Interact with parrots, owls, lizards, frogs & turtles. Confront non-venomous pythons and marvel at salt and fresh water crocodiles! 

Topics explored include:

  • Life Cycles
  • Habitats
  • Ecosystems
  • Predators vs Prey
  • Threatened Species
  • Distributions
  • Behaviour & Diets
  • Morphology
  • Classification

Interact with native creatures and come face to face with apex predators. Be exposed to Australia’s magnificent biodiversity!

There will be opportunities for your child to handle some of the animals and get up close for photographs.

This session goes for an hour and is targeted at school age children and may not be suited to younger children whose attention span is shorter. Please take this into consideration prior to booking.  

Bookings are essential and children must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Adults are not required to purchase a ticket.

  • 3 to 12 year olds with an interest in animals and nature

What you will learn:

  • The children will learn about Australian animals in a fun, interactive environment

 What to wear:

  • This is an indoor event but please wear closed shoes, sunscreen and a hat for visiting the farm after the fun
Parking Info:

Please allow time to find a carpark and walk to the Mummery Room.

While there is some parking available at the front of Edendale we would encourage you to investigate some more sustainable transport options including:

  • Walking
  • Car pooling

Some overflow parking may be available at Eltham North Adventure Playground.
