Celebrations and Private Bookings - Spaces for Hire

• Shelter hire is by the hour.
• 2-hour minimum hire in all spaces.
• Set up and clean up must be within your booking time.
• A trolley is available for use to get your party supplies to and from the car park (please return to car park immediately after set up, thank you).
• No vehicles can be taken onto the site beyond the carpark area.
• No balloons, piñatas or party poppers allowed, other decorations such as reusable bunting / paper decorations are welcome.

Catering & food

• Bring your own party food and catering needs, remembering to consider the environment and waste management in your party planning.
• Cafe Eden is available for catering or you could hire a free Party Kit from the Party Kit Network.
• Food trucks are not permitted for private parties.
• All shelters have tables and chairs suited to the capacity of the shelter.
• Power is available for your use in some shelters.
• No gas barbeques are allowed due to safety reasons.
• Take any party waste home with you to sort into appropriate home recycling systems. 

Activities

• Add a self-guided Farm Tour Bag or Guinea Pig visit to entertain your guests.
• You can arrange your own entertainer to join you in your shelter such as face painters or magicians.
• Other activities such as Pony Rides or bouncing castles are not able to be brought on site. Please let us know if you are arranging an entertainer prior to the day.

• Decide upon your preferred space, time and activity with some alternative options if your first choice is not available.
• Check availability and book online.
• We will confirm your booking within 3 working days by email.
• You will receive an invoice payable online with a credit card or EFT.

• Payment is due on confirmation of booking. Refunds are possible as per our Conditions of Hire.

Public Liability Insurance is included in the booking price. A form will be provided for you to complete and return.

Conditions specific to Edendale bookings:

• No Balloons, piñatas or confetti allowed on site.
• All waste should be removed from the site to be sorted and disposed of in Hirers household waste system (or a waste fee may apply).
• No Gas BBQs to be brought on site.
• No Food Trucks to be brought on site (Festivals exempt).
• No BYO Marquees or Market Umbrellas to be erected on site.
• No Jumping Castles to be erected on site.
• Fire Danger days: Edendale Community Environment Farm will be closed on days of Extreme or Catastrophic fire danger rating.
• Payment terms - Shelter or Lawn Hire:
  • 100% of venue hire cost & additions/fees such as public liability cover (if applicable) will be due on confirmation of booking.
  • Cancellation by customer on or before 4 days before booking date will result in a 100% Refund of venue hire cost and additions/fees.
  • Cancellation by customer less than 4 days before booking date will result in a 0% Refund of venue hire cost and additions/fees.
