Come and explore Wild City with a pair of binoculars and a field naturalists check list, Search the mini city for animals and habitats that have been built by children in our school holiday workshops. It is on display for the remainder of the day for Edendale visitors to enjoy, explore and learn from.

Wild City is a collaborative sculpture that explores urban ecology and co-existence. It is a place where we consider wild animals as citizens in a shared landscape.

By exploring inspiring real-world examples of co-existence, artist Kathy Holowko and 32 participating children will have transformed a barren urban landscape into a green metropolis where humans and wild animals can thrive together.

Together local children will have created a truly Wild City. It’s world building on a miniature scale, and we will all want to live there!

Great for all ages!

If you are over 6 years old and would like to help us build this Wild City please book in here
