Volunteer

Volunteer at Edendale

Volunteers provide a valuable contribution to the Edendale community.

We have a roster of volunteers who help our farm and nursery team with day-to-day activities at various days and times throughout the week.

Friends of Edendale

Established in 2022 the Friends of Edendale have a strong connection to the Edendale site and are keen to welcome new members.

Members are involved in activities such as planting, weed control, mulching, plant and animal monitoring and water quality monitoring.

Work experience

Work experience placements for Secondary and Tertiary Students are accepted but positions are limited and subject to availability.

Selected students can assist on the farm and in the nursery to gain a wide range of experience over their placement time.

Volunteer in Nillumbik

There are a number of other environmental groups that operate within the Nillumbik Shire. From groups that care for reserves and natural spaces to groups that focus on native fauna, energy or food production and sharing.
