Join Diamond Valley Art society in the Ironbark Shelter for some hands-on fun activities aimed at 3 to 10 year-olds to create works of art to take home with you. Practicing artists will lead the children
A hands-on fun activity aimed at 3 to 10 year olds to create a painted pebble friend. The pebble, non-toxic paints, and brushes will be on-site, all the children need to do it turn up, paint and have fun. The paint can be washed off clothes, but feel free to bring an apron if you want. The children are encouraged to paint any design they want, it is their pebble pal!
It takes about 30 minutes to paint the pebble, and then up to 30 minutes to dry so as to be able to carry home. Arrive anytime between 10.30 am and 12 midday (12.30 pm finish).
Bookings are required but you can arrive anytime between 10:30 and 12:00 pm (12:30 finish)
Children are not to be left at the activity for more than 20 minutes to avoid overcrowding. If the space is busy, you may be asked to return in 20 minutes before you can start the activity.

Diamond Valley Arts Society (DVAS) is a local community lead society that has been operating for nearly 53 years in the Nillumbik, Banyule and Darebin municipalities.
