Our Repair Cafe is up and Running

Nillumbik resident discount program - Home composting products

Textile Recycling Stopped

Regrettably, the Upcycle 4 Better textile recycling services at Edendale Community Environment Farm in Eltham and the Recycling Centre in Plenty have ended. The bins have been removed and these sites can no longer accept any unwanted textiles, so please do not bring your unwanted goods for recycling. We apologise for the short notice as Upcycle 4 Better ends its service with us.

Pygmy Perch Release

In partnership with Native Fish Australia we have released some Southern Pygmy Perch into the dam at Edendale. These cute little indigenous fish grow to approx. 8cm, used to be common in the Diamond Creek. We are hoping that they love their new home and will breed up so that one day they can help repopulate our local water ways.
