School holidays

Edendale Opening Hours: Open daily from 10:00 AM to 4:30 PM throughout the holidays, except for the period from December 24 to January 1, when we will be closed for the Christmas break.

Summer School Holiday Activities: These activities will be available on weekdays from Monday, January 13 to Friday, January 24, 2025.

Book for Activities. Make sure to mark your calendars for Monday, December 16, as bookings for these activities will open then!

Wildlife Exposure – Vulnerable & Endangered Species
Explore the world of wildlife conservation and learn about vulnerable and endangered species through engaging activities.
Goat Yoga for Kids
Fun yoga sessions where children can relax, stretch, and play with our friendly goats in a delightful outdoor setting.
Mini Farmers (5 – 8 years)
An engaging introduction to farming for younger children, featuring fun activities and animal interactions.
Junior Farmers (8 – 12 years)
A hands-on program designed for older kids to dive into farming practices, animal care, and sustainability.
Meet the Animals Daily
Daily opportunities to get up close with our farm animals, creating unforgettable experiences for all ages.
Clay Play with DVAS
Get creative with clay in this hands-on workshop, where participants can craft their own unique pieces.
Photography with Artist in Residence
Creative workshop where kids can explore photography techniques, using natural and sustainable materials to create unique prints.
Usual Self-Directed Clipboard Activities
Enjoy a variety of self-guided activities throughout the farm, perfect for curious explorers of all ages.

A note about parking

As the farm can be very busy over the school holiday period, please be sure to allow enough time to find a carpark and make your way into Edendale.

Should all our carparks be full, there is additional carparking available at the nearby Eltham North Adventure Playground which is just a short walk from our North Entrance gate on the Diamond Creek walking trail.
