Join us for a talk by Fiona on "Gardening with Indigenous Plants," where you will discover the benefits of incorporating native flora into your garden. This presentation will explore the ecological advantages of using indigenous plants, such as supporting local wildlife, conserving water, and maintaining biodiversity. Fiona will share practical tips on selecting, planting, and caring for native species, making it easier for you to create a diverse and eco-friendly garden.
The presentation will also include a brief tour of the propagation areas, nursery and gardens here at Edendale Community Environment Farm including the pollinator garden and bushfood/rare plant gardens.
You are welcome to bring along your questions.
This is an adult focused learning experience and not suited to young children.
