A new weekly Youth Action Group for ages 12 to 15, at Edendale in Eltham

Our Youth Enviro Team* is designed for young people to work together on real, meaningful environmental and sustainable projects. A safe and supported group, inclusive of all abilities, gender, backgrounds and religions

Many young people have concerns or a passion for environment and want to make real change, to see our world in a better place. It’s sometimes difficult to find a starting point, this could be your chance to find your tribe!

Ages / Eligibility

Young people aged 12-15 who live, go to school, work, or have a connection with Nillumbik

Edendale Community Environment Farm, Gastons Road, Eltham

When

Edendale Youth Enviro Team program will run for 1.5 - 2 hours on Tuesdays after school.

There will be some activities the group will run at other times, days and weekends. (i.e. Special events, activities and school holiday projects.)

The Edendale Youth Enviro Team program is a small group that will be capped at 15 participants aged 12-15.

Aims

The Edendale Youth Enviro Team program has been designed with several aims, including for participants:

To have a voice and participate in meaningful enviro activities
To make connections, make friends & have fun
To learn new skills
To make a difference in our communities
To contribute to co-designing the program as well as planning projects and activities

This group will be supported by a Youth Worker and Enviro Champions at Shire of Nillumbik’s Edendale Community Environment Farm (Eltham).
