In addition to our scheduled events, there’s a great range of free, self-directed activities available every day. Enjoy the fresh air, explore the farm and its natural surroundings, and meet our friendly animals — no bookings required.

A little note about parking during busy times:

Our car parks can get full during school holidays, so please allow extra time to find a spot.

If our main car park is full, overflow parking is available at the Eltham North Adventure Playground, a short walk to our North Entrance via the Diamond Creek trail.

Introduction to Beekeeping (To bee or not to bee)

Thursday, 09 April 2026 | 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM

A fun and informative introduction to bees and beekeeping for families considering introducing a beehive into their home garden.

This workshop will cover an overview of bee life cycles, seasonal behaviour and the importance of bees in our world. Find out what is involved in becoming a beekeeper for the first time- including equipment, regulations and safety.
