Do your kids love chickens? Then join us these school holidays for a fun and hands-on workshop all about backyard chicken keeping, hosted by our expert farmer Raewyn!

This hands-on 1.5-hour workshop is perfect for families with children aged 6 and older who are eager to learn how to care for chickens and get a behind-the-scenes look at their daily routine. Together, you'll:

  • Let the chooks out in the morning and see how they start their day
  • Learn about feeding, housing, and health care
  • Get up close with the chickens to practice handling
  • Discover the characteristics of different chicken breeds to help you choose the right ones for your backyard

By the end of this workshop, you'll feel confident and ready to begin raising your own chickens and enjoying fresh, free-range eggs at home!

What to Bring:
  • Covered shoes (essential for safety)
  • Outdoor clothes and a hat for sun protection
Important:
  • Parents must stay with their children throughout the workshop.
  • Bookings are essential as spaces are limited.

Don't miss out on this fantastic opportunity to bond with your family and learn the joys of keeping chickens!
