A Hands-on Farm experience!

Calling all young animal lovers! This exciting Junior Farmers program is for children aged 8 to 12 years who want to roll up their sleeves and experience farm life up close. They’ll work alongside our Edendale Farmers to help with some of our daily animal chores and discover what it takes to care for our animals.

Farm Chores May Include:

Letting out and feeding the chickens
Changing the chicken’s water and tidying their area
Feeding the sheep, goats, and alpacas
Cleaning the paddocks
Brushing the ponies or goats

Facilitator:

Edendale Farmers will guide the children through each task, teaching them about farm life, sustainability, and animal care.

Important Information:

Parents and caregivers do not need to stay with the group but must remain nearby and contactable by phone.
Children must not be left unattended at the farm.

Bookings are essential – spaces are limited for this hands-on adventure!
