Council offers a personalised advisory service for Nillumbik residents and businesses, on how to navigate the confusing world of energy and sustainable living.
Energy topics include:
- going all electric
- solar
- electric vehicles
- bulk-buys
- draught-proofing, insulation and windows
- saving energy, finding better energy deals and rebates.
Sustainable living topics include:
- food production
- waste reduction
- building and renovating
- water efficiency around the home, business and landscape
A Sustainable Home Audit Kit will also be available for demonstration, and advice can be provided regarding its use and the interpretation of results.

You can book a one-on-one discussion with a member of Council’s sustainability team. These half-hour sessions can be held in person at Council’s office or Diamond Valley Library in Greensborough, or online.
