Children's event celebrating the Diamond Creek and wildlife

Come and join us at this Children's week celebration of the Diamond Creek and the wildlife it supports. There will be fun activities suitable for 3 to 12 years old.   A fun action packed 2 hours includes:

• Book launch and reading from Vikki Conley (author) of the new book "Where the river runs free". This activity includes puppets and a draw along activity
• River poetry and craft
• Native fish tanks and chats with Native Fish Australia
• Water bug activities with the Yarra River Keeper
• Platypus Jenga
• Platypus quest
• Meet a platypus ecologist
• Melbourne Water activities
• Popup bookstore by Eltham Book Shop

This event is free, but please register if you would like to attend as this helps us organise the day

If you intend to drive, please consider parking at the Eltham North Adventure Playground, walk across the Diamond Creek bridge to Edendale's north pedestrian entrance.
