Plan your visit
As the first in a series of events during February focusing on textile waste, you are invited to a repurposing workshop at Edendale called Tee Re-Made. Now that we no longer have a textiles reycling hub at the farm, we are looking to promote alternatives to landfill for textiles that are no longer needed.
Come along and learn how to transform worn-out t-shirts into versatile yarn that you can knit, crochet, or macrame into beautiful new creations - also, how easy it is to upcycle a tee into a simple bag, with no sewing machine needed. Discover the endless possibilities hidden in your old t-shirts and unleash your creativity, while also reducing textile waste.
This workshop will then be followed by a fabric swap at 11.30, for those interested - details of this will be posted separately.
You are welcome to bring up to 3 t-shirts that you are happy to transform into something new. The workshop will run for 1.5 hours and is suitable for adults and teenagers.
Event partner of the NSF 2025.
