Many of you will have witnessed the wide spread flooding of the Diamond Creek last week. This has caused damage to some of the previous plantings undertaken by Friends of Edendale.
Surprisingly the majority of plants are still intact and just need some care and new shelter to continue growing. The ground is dry again and easily accessible.
We will be running a working bee to ensure all the surviving plants are properly embedded in the soil, have guards and enough stakes.
We will meet at the North entrance to Edendale, near the adventure playground.
Please bring gloves. All other tools will be supplied.
If you are able to help please RSVP by email to Sue Dyet at firstname.lastname@example.org and come along to help on Saturday 5th November 10.00am – 12.00noon.
