About the nursery
Our Indigenous Plant Nursery produces over 100,000 native plants each year. See our photo gallery
We grow indigenous plants from locally collected seeds and plant cuttings and these are available for purchase. These local native plants are also used for revegetation in reserves and parkland around Nillumbik Shire.
All plants are grown on site, in a purpose-built propagation shed and hot houses, by a team of dedicated staff and volunteers. Our staff are passionate about indigenous planting and are delighted to share their knowledge and experience with you.
The nursery sells a range of local native plant tubes, 150mm pots, stakes, tree guards, compost bins, worm farms and other essentials for successful, sustainable gardening in Nillumbik and beyond. See our plant price list and other things we sell
We welcome Landcare, 'friends of' groups and other skilled volunteers to propagate these indigenous plants that will enhance our local environment and support native ecosystems and fauna.
