If you are considering getting backyard chooks then this is the workshop for you!

Join Raewyn, one of Edendale's farm staff, and learn the basics of backyard chicken keeping. This face to face workshop will cover the characteristics of different breeds, housing and care needs of chickens.

You will leave with the knowledge and confidence to begin keeping chickens and producing free-range eggs.

Proudly brought to you as part of Nillumbik Shire Council’s annual Spring Outdoors program in conjunction with Manningham and Banyule councils.
